A Message from Pastor Jim Bickel

Suspicion and loneliness describe a great many people in these troubled times. Too often we find those in places of authority to be untruthful. Doubt floods our minds. Our sophisticated technology enables us to be in touch with more people more quickly than ever before, but we are lonely. "Does anyone really care for me?" we ask.

The people at Bethel Baptist Fellowship have come to experience confidence and community through a working knowledge of God and His Word. It has been said that Christianity knows no truth that is not the child of love.

At Bethel Baptist Fellowship Pastor Jim Bickel is an experienced pastor that preaches and teaches the Bible in its historical and cultural context. He teaches  by what he says and how he lives.

A Warm and Friendly Atmosphere
We believe that our church is not the building in which we worship, but the people. We share a love for God and for each other. We welcome others to come and see the difference a church that really cares can make.

Evangelistic Outreach
Sharing our faith with others is both a privilege and a profound obligation. Our concern begins with our neighbors in the Sheepshead Bay area of Brooklyn, NY who need Jesus, and extends around the world through missions.

Concern For Today's Youth
We have programs established to minister to both younger children and teens. Younger children can enjoy both our Sunday School hour and Children's Choir. Teens can enjoy our special Wednesday evening Teen Fellowship where different relevant topics and Biblical principles are discussed. Friday evening youth activities give teens an opportunity to compete in exciting games, enjoy refreshments, and receive a Bible challenge.

Solid Biblical Preaching
Since the Bible has the answers to the daily needs of life, we must understand what the Bible has to say. We present the truth of God's Word at each service with conviction and compassion.
